How long does in-office teeth whitening take vs. take-home teeth whitening?
In-office teeth whitening appointments typically take about 90 minutes, and provide immediate results. The "active" whitening portion of that is 60 minutes, broken down into four 15-minute applications, activated by a special light.
For best results with at-home whitening, most patients will need two consecutive weeks for their initial treatment protocol, depending on the level of whitening desired and diligence in following the recommended treatment plan.
